I have come across a couple of very interesting articles pertaining to the last few days of the COP15 negotiations. The first is an AP report, which gives a detailed report of President Obama's frenzied 15 hours in Copenhagen: http://www.google.com/hostednews/ap/article/ALeqM5ge2OqwkoIhobJajPjIvUmAToARJgD9CMLVD00
The second is written by a columnist for the UK's Guardian: http://www.guardian.co.uk/environment/2009/dec/22/copenhagen-climate-change-mark-lynas. The writer named his article, "How do I know China wrecked the Copenhagen deal? I was in the room." He offers up his opinion after observing some last minunte negotiating as a "fly-on-the-wall."
Enjoy the articles, and Happy New Year from Norway!
Hi Zach, my name is Carmen George and I'm a reporter with the Montana Kaimin newspaper here on campus. Could I interview you for a story I'm writing about your trip to Copenhagen along with Yaicha and Melissa? I've had a tough time contacting you so far (hence this blog post in hopes of reaching you!) My deadline is 6 tonight (Monday.) If you don't get this message today, could you still call me please? My number is (406) 214-5830. Your trip sounds like it was a great experience, I hope to hear from you soon!
